about

This album is about all the COVID-19 craziness that happened
to ALL of us last year. It is based on what my wife, Sarama and I went
through but can pertain to most anyone. In fact with all of the
events of 2020 it led us to having a reinvigorated creative
resurgence. A soundtrack to 2020? A sonic chronicle you
would say? With all of the situations we went through it was
as if we were in some science fiction movie. My gosh, we
were! We were in that film. Living it. So here it is the soundtrack to that movie...

The album begins from March 12th of 2020 and ends on the
same date a year later. The compositions are in the Ambient
and 80's Synthwave vein.

The Equipment used from our studio in these recordings
were mostly of the vintage type. An ARP Omni and ARP String
Ensemble, Korg DSS-1, Moog Liberation, Oberheim DMX and DX Drum Machines, Paia Vocoder, Roland S-770 Digital Sampler, Roland V-Synth, Yamaha CS5, Yamaha DX5 with a BC-1 Breath Controller ( For those CS-80 Moments) and a VERY brooding Yamaha TX-816. They were recorded using a Emerson VHS 4 head HI-FI recorder and then fed into our Open Labs NEKO OpenSynth utlizing Reaper and Steinberg Nuendo DAW with a Steinberg Huston Control Surface for mixing.
